MadebyMin is an online cake studio with a focus on tea-infused cakes and bakes. Min specialises in bespoke tea cream cakes, which are guaranteed to be as delicious as they are pretty. She draws strong inspiration from tea culture in Taiwan, and cakes are meticulously crafted with heavy consideration of the flavour combinations. Different flavours of tea cakes are complemented by a unique blend of recommended fruits, and these pairings are subject to seasonal changes. Min is always researching and developing new flavours. Min’s tea cream are prepared using fresh dairy cream through unique preparation and infusion for prominent flavour. For a more elaborate design, Min will use two mediums to work on the cake: dairy tea cream for cake filling & Swiss meringue buttercream for cake coating & decoration. This will be further discussed if required.

Her passion for baking has also led her to develop incredibly unique bakes that cannot be found on the mainstream market. Think gochujang cookies, Darjeeling pineapple tarts and even sweet potato crisps! These flavours are developed by Min in her kitchen, and she always takes feedback from her customers into consideration. These bake sales are exciting launches to look forward to on top of her usual cake orders.

Min has a strong background in the culinary arts, with an impressive resume of having worked at Osteria Mozza, Pantler, Lino, A Summer in Paris and apprentice at Escape from Paris in Taipei. Min has a degree from The Culinary Institute of America in Singapore, but by trade, she is a patisserie.  She nurtured her passion since childhood, naturally gravitating towards cooking shows. She has been researching and baking ever since and opened up Madebymin. As someone who takes a lot of pride in her bakes, Min is constantly working to improve and expand the range of her bakes.
