About Image Mission 

Marginalized women often lack the tools and support needed to be financially independent and break out of their poverty cycle. Image Mission not only provides professional outfits that enable women to dress for success, but it also equips them with the required skill set to help them with their job search so they can be empowered to gain economic freedom. 

 

Programs 

Image Mission offers 2 types of programs to support women job seekers.

 

Dress for Success Singapore 

The Dress for Success program seeks to provide lifelong skills to aid employability. For a start, the client is coached on interview and presentation skills. This not only equips them with essential skills that they can carry forward in life but also boosts confidence in their abilities. Professional styling and appropriate outfits are also provided to enhance their all-important first impression to potential employers. 

These programs are tailored to the specific needs of the client. If a client has no idea where to begin their job hunt, the clients are assessed on their competencies and are given recommendations on the type of careers they can pursue. Image Mission also supports its clients in areas such as resume writing, interview skills, as well as both interview and employment styling. A client may join at any point in this process.

Most importantly, these women are provided with a network of support and a community where they can seek help and get the assistance that they need.

This International Woman’s Day, Image Mission organized the #IMbeautiful event. Thirty of their clients received a complimentary makeover session and had their photographs taken professionally. Post-event, they will receive a complimentary 5R photograph. FotoHub has sponsored these prints in support of the hopes and aspirations of these women! The makeover and photography session affirms that they are all beautiful in their own way. As they say, when you look good, you feel good!

IM Ready 

This program is a structured job-readiness program that assesses clients’ strengths and interests to guide their career paths. Clients undergo one-on-one consultations to develop an action plan for potential career paths based on their competencies and motivations. This builds more clarity in their job search, and from there, they are provided with continuous support and resources until they secure employment.
